Prices for sharpening of double bevel kitchen knives
We sharpen every single knife by hand on Japanese whetstones in accordance with traditional Japanese methods. For every knife we go through several different stones, starting from lover grits and going up to #6000 – #8000 grit.

Prices for sharpening of single bevel kitchen knives
We sharpen every single knife by hand on Japanese whetstones in accordance with traditional Japanese methods. Single bevel knives are finished on high grit Japanese natural whetstones. Basic restoration of kasumi polish (the wavy gray line on the blade) is always included in the sharpening fee.

Free pickup / delivery inside Helsinki
We offer free of charge pick up and delivery service for knives from within Helsinki area. For the packages from outside of Helsinki we, unfortunately, have to charge a separate delivery fee in accordance to the postal services price list. The delivery fee depends on the size and weight of the knife/knives and is determined on case by case principles.
