KAKIMOCHIKIRI   かき餅切り

Kakimochikiri is a tool used for cutting kaki-mochi into thin slices. Kaki-mochi are Japanese sweets made from sticky rice.

Nowadays most of Kakimochikiri tools are manufactured with a fixed stand, this version seen in the pictures is a more traditional one, cutting is done freehand using both hands.
