BUNKA BŌCHŌ    文化包丁

Bunka bōchō is a fairly common home kitchen knife in Japan, but it seems to be less popular nowadays, than santoku knife is. “Bunka bōchō” is translated as “cultural knife”.

Both bunka bōchō and santoku are also often mentioned as “banno bōchō”, which is translated as “all purpose knife”.

Bunka bōchō is a double bevel knife.
